So another Media Job helping out my close friend Guy Butler Photography, this time it was for a UK company that produces night and thermal vision devices, this time I was meant to be only there making sure things look right, no backward facing sights etc...
As always though when people meet The Beard they tend to ask if I'll be in the shoot, so again I had to play dress up for the day and look all Gucci/Ally for the camera.
Our day pretty much looked like this...
04:30 alarm goes off.
05:30 have cars loaded and set off in convoy.
06:00 arrive at studio and begin unloading and rigging studio for the shoot ahead.
07:00 client and models arrive
07:20 brief with client and models on the day ahead
07:45 shoots begins on the 48 different alternatives of looks for the 12 different products.
12:00 first break for food
12:45 continue shoot
17:00 wrap of shoot
17:05 de rig studio
17:35 leave studio
18:00 arrive back home and unload vehicles
18:25 begin downloading shoot images to iMac and server
18:55 check files integrity
19:00 eat food
19:25 get in bath (relax)
20:30 arrive at pub....
Great day, some amazing pictures are going to be released over the coming months and got to play with some cool toys. The more and more I help Guy out on these shoots, which are not always Tactical inspired as we do have a Scotland trip planned soon to get some landscape/outdoor pics the more I see things in a different way, its like light has just been shined on them for the first time.
